This Extreme Extruded powder is a perfect replica of H4831 in terms of ballistics. Because of its smaller grain size, it is referred to as SC or short cut. The powder may pass through the powder measures more easily due to the shorter, more compact kernels, which lessens the need to constantly chop the granules. More uniform charge weights are produced by the smoother flow characteristics, and better loading density is produced by the more compact orientation of the individual grains.

It’s probably safe to say that H4831 has been used to kill more big game than any other powder. This well-liked burning rate was first introduced by Bruce Hodgdon in 1950.
