Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed LR Bolt Action Rifle

The new Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed LR has barrel specifications that make this rifle an excellent choice for both hunting and long-range practice sessions. The lengths of the fluted heavy sporter contour barrels have been optimized and run 2″ longer than standard lengths (to a maximum of 26″) for added bullet velocities. The muzzle is threaded 5/8″-24 and is ready for use with an optional suppressor. The Hell’s Canyon LR includes a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

Whether you are a hunter or an aspiring competitor, if you are looking for extra magazine capacity, the Speed LR delivers with the new Plus Magazine system. It uses our proprietary Plus Magazine — a single stack, extended design — that holds 5 or 6 rounds depending on the cartridge. The Plus Magazine system retains the shoulder holding feature of the X-Bolt rotary magazine and uses the same center feed design — two features designed prevent damage to the tips of bullets in the magazine under recoil or when loading to the chamber. The Plus Magazine system has easy insertion and ejection with a convenient side mounted release button.
